Hilly's Watermelon Round Ripple

WHEW! I finally got Hilly's Round Ripple Done!! We named it 'Watermelon', because when I had the first color bands done, it looked like a slice of watermelon. This was an on again, off again project. It kept getting pushed aside so I could finish other projects. She was very understanding about it all, though. She was so happy when I walked into her room when she was laying on her bed watching TV and I covered her up with it. She had no idea I had been working on it when she was in school and after she went to bed. I wanted it to be a surprise when I finally got it done. It ended up being about 70 inches point to point. I used Red Heart Kids yarn in the colors of Hot Pink and Lime, and Hobby Lobby's Yarn 'I Love This Yarn' in White. It is still a little too warm for her to use it, but soon the temperatures will be getting to where she will be able to use it, along with her monster 3 strander.

I'm am loving all the wonderful star ripples that you have made! The one that cought my eye most is the one you posted back in May. The colors are simply perfect! If you don't mind I would love to use your strip pattern for my daughters blanket.
